The SBM (G) has made progress since it was launched in October 2014. However, to be able to meet the enormous challenge of making India ODF by 2019 the pace of work will have to the accelerated and aspects of behavioural change and inter personal communication will have to be given foremost importance to ensure sustainable sanitation.
